Traditional Games

Traditional_Sports included in Annual Sports and Talent Related Competitions 2018:
To bring out the inherent talents of its members and residents of the Nagar, Sri Sarvamangala Nagar Residents’ Association, Chitlapakkam has scheduled to conduct Annual Sports and Talent related Competitions 2018, between the 6th of January and 28th of January 2018. Traditional games such as #Dhayam, #Kho_Kho, #PandiAttam, #Pambaram, #Pallanguzhi, #Kabadi and #Skipping  also figured in the list of competitions this year, along with the usual events  (i.e.) Shuttle, Rangoli, Running, Drawing, Slow Cycling, Singing, Individual Talent, etc,.  Before conducting final round of Dhayam Competitions on 06-01-2018, several preliminary rounds were already organized at different places in the Nagar and greater part of  the contestants are women. Prizes for successful contestants would be distributed at the 19th Anniversary of  Association to be held during February 2018.
