69th Independence Day
Celebrations of our Country was celebrated by Sri Sarvamangala Nagar Resident’s
Association, Chitlapakkam on 15th August 2015 at the Park of the
Nagar at 7AM. Large number of residents and their wards participated in the
function. Shri M. Ravi, Secretary of the Association welcomed the gathering.
Shri R. Venkataraman, President of the Association hoisted the tricolour
National Flag at the tiny hands of children gathered. In his address he said
that the children should be molded in such a way fit to save our Country
against all difficulties in future. Further, children have to be taught to keep
environment clean, particularly their surrounding so that it will a role model
to others. Patriotic songs were rendered by women and Children assembled. Kum.
Jyothi, 5th standard student in her speech conveyed that the hard
earned independence of our country by our leaders has to be protected by the
present generation knowing about its significance. After singing of National
anthem, flag salute and distribution of sweets the celebration concluded.
